The United States is the largest contributor to the United Nations, providing approximately 22% of the regular budget and about 26% of the peacekeeping budget.
In 2025, the U.S. assessed contribution to the regular budget was around $820 million, and to the peacekeeping budget, approximately $1.4 billion. Additionally, the U.S. makes significant voluntary contributions to various UN programs, including the World Food Program and UNICEF.
