The Normandy Landings were the landing operations and associated airborne operations on June 6, 1944 of the Allied Invasion of Normandy in Operation Overlord during the Second World War. Codenamed Operation Neptune and often referred to as D-Day; it is the largest seaborne invasion in history.
In Military terms, the "D" in D-Day does not stand for "decision," "departed” or "doomsday." It is simply a coded designation where D stands for "Day.”
Teach our young people our history. I don’t believe they have any idea what has and is now being sacrificed for our Great Country.
It was a good try. Thank a Police Officer for what he or she does to protect you. Anyone who is willing to rush in to protect someone they don’t know deserves respect.
